At the time of writing this preview, the Oilers forward and the team’s leading scorer Evander Kane is sidelined because of the hernia surgery he underwent in September. But in the other aspect of his life, where it counts most – for him and his family – things are well.
It was on Friday when Kane’s fiancée, Mara Teigen, took to IG and shared a video with the baby’s gender reveal that was held with children only.
They started going for five then when Mara was accurately spearing the balloon pink swirling papers were being thrown in the air. At that moment, she wrote
“WE ARE HAVING A BABY GIRL 🎀🎀🎀🎀 !!!!!!!!! I’m lost for words!! Somebody please pinch me
Mara also also shared a video of her stating that she is eager for the news. They already adopted Kensington, a son of Kane and Anna Kane who was his ex-wife, but Teigen cherishes a lot.
“Okay, well, now you know. I am having another baby, I am so excited.” Teigen said, “I feel so good, I told a few people but to really just let it out there and start celebrating it. And today was the day that we found out the gender. So, today has been like… I am so excited you guys.”
“If you know me you know.. I love being a mom and I always wanted like so many babies. And Evander is like ‘This is it.’ I’m like ‘Okay that’s fine.’ I always wanted five, I will go for five. But I don’t know, being pregnant with three kids is a whole nother ball game. (In cheerful voice) But I cannot believe I’m having a baby girl. I am so excited and I feel it’s good to tell everyone. But I basically just want to sleep all the time.”
Evander Kane earlier announced his engagement to Mara Teigen
Back in September, Evander Kane posted pictures of a happy couple on his Instagram to announce that he is engaged to Mara Teigen. The caption “happy direct towards Teigen hot” was a thank you message saying how lucky it is to have them and their family.
In return, Teigen used social media to call Evander Kane the love of her life. It involved their three children and saw them wearing t-shirts with lights and, at the end, Kane spelling “Will you marry me?” Here Kane and Teigen have two sons Iverson and Hendrix.
