Montreal stars of the PWHL Marie-Philip Poulin and Laura Stacey have now become husband and wife. With this, the couple is taking the relationship to another level. They got engaged last summer, and their wedding could take place privately in the past weekend.
It was one of those times when there were guests in attendance who were sportspeople. Mélodie Daoust from Team Canada, Tessa Virtue Olympic gold medalist, Kate Beirness the television personality, Ailish Forfar and other friends of the family also attended the wedding of the couple.
The couple tied the knot outside, the brides, Poulin and Stacey wore white floor-length gowns. They even had white decorative umbrellas and they both posed standing beside the umbrellas insisting that it was polite to be elegant for the occasion.
Last week, Marie-Philip Poulin shared a bridal after-party using Instagram story. The floor was noisy with a song playing in the background, Celine Dion – It’s All Coming Back To Me Now. What remained was the couple enjoying themselves with the guests while dancing to the moment made in the song.

Marie-Philip Poulin and Laura Stacey got engaged last summer
The Canadian couple has spent a good number of years in each other’s company. Poulin and Stacey posted on their Instagram page on May 26 2023 announcing pictures from a Hawaii vacation wearing engagement rings.
“So… This happened. Best question I ever asked… She said OUI,” Marie-Philip Poulin wrote in an Instagram post.
“You•Me•Oui•Forever❤️,” posted Laura Stacey on her own Instagram account.
Apart from entertaining PWHL Montreal, Poulin & Stacey have also been a team and have cooperated in Olympic cultivating events. Together they took silver in 2018 and gold in 2022; the pair competed as a team at five World Championship contests. Combined they have 6 Olympic medals and 7 gold medals in World Championship.
